Founder of Nyctale Tours, Chris Venetz is a professional bird tour leader and bird photographer, who designs and leads bird-focused photography workshops and birding expeditions across Switzerland and around the globe. He aims to produce images that are both scientifically valuable and artistically compelling, often using « clean », diffused backgrounds and natural light to isolate the bird and while respecting its behavior and the habitat.

He also regularly leads tours for Ornis Birding Expeditions, a well-established company specializing in high-quality, worldwide birding trips tailored to dedicated birdwatchers.
