Mongolia – Birds Across Vast Horizons
Mongolia is one of my favorite countries. It’s a land of immense, dramatic landscapes where nature still feels so truly wild! From endless steppes and remote lakes to the Altai Mountains and the Gobi Desert, each region hosts its own unique birds, shaped by harsh climates and vast horizons.
During my recent visits, I experienced some of the most unforgettable bird migration moments of my life, alongside iconic breeding specialties of the northern hemisphere, and all set against some of the most striking landscapes imaginable. These images capture just a fraction of what Mongolia has to offer, and I already can’t wait to return.
