Peru – Birds of the Tropical Andes

The tropical Andes of Peru are among the most biodiverse regions on the planet. From the Amazonian foothills to the high cloud forests, each elevation hosts a distinct assemblage of species, and many of them endemic, specialized, and often highly localized. The feeling of birding in the tropical Andes in unbeatable, and here are a few captures taken during my last visits in this fascinating country.
