Peru – Birds of the Tropical Andes

The tropical Andes of Peru are among the most biodiverse regions on the planet. From the Amazonian foothills to the high cloud forests, each elevation hosts a distinct assemblage of species — many of them endemic, specialized, and often highly localized. Here are a few captures taken my three visits in this fascinating country.
